Baby is a hairstyling robot built by the RGI corpopration whose sole purpose is to give her customers the perfect haircut. To encourage rapid and efficient development of her skills, she is rewarded with a quick jolt to her positive reinforcement processor – also known as a pleasure circuit – for each successful order that she completes. When one of her jobs doesn't go as planned, however, she soon discovers that the true depths of her inner workings have yet to be explored...

Certain that her words carry some cosmic significance to them, Dave begins to investigate with ever-growing urgency, all the while struggling to survive the harsh realities of professional life within the oppressive cityscape that surrounds him. Unspooling Henry Hart
Pop culture journalist Allen Frye is preparing to report on the funeral of adult entertainment mogul Henry Hart at the late director's estate in Bel-Air, but he secretly has an alternative goal in mind: finding Hart's fabled "lost film" which is rumored to be hidden somewhere inside his mansion. However, he quickly finds himself caught up in a matter of intrigue – no sooner does he get there than the police arrive and prohibit anyone from leaving the premises, due to purported irregularities in Hart's autopsy results. Although he doubts that there was any foul play, Allen decides to take advantage of the lockdown to pursue his own investigation into the lost film. As he gathers clues and interviews members of the mansion's inner circle, however, Allen discovers that there is much more to Hart than he first thought...

Set during the resurgence of the Cold War in the mid-1980s, Maniac! details the adventures of Dave, a rather dense individual who manages to get caught up in an ongoing struggle between two rival factions of psychics – people that possess specialized paranormal techniques known as 'talents'. After witnessing a fight between two psychics, Dave is taken in by the leader of the Maniacs, Mei, and brought up to speed on the nature of their battle against Kismet, a clandestine organization whose stated purpose is to destroy the world by way of nuclear armageddon. Dave agrees to join the cause, performing errands for the Maniacs while at the same time trying to escape from dangerous situations orchestrated by the leader of Kismet and his six most capable subordinates. This is exacerbated by the fact that although he is considered a psychic, Dave's own talent has yet to manifest. Can Dave's sheer determination in the face of fear and self-doubt, along with his latent psychic abilities, keep him alive long enough to prevent the nuclear catastrophe that is sure to come?
